19th Century inlaid marquetry mahogany sofa table / writing desk offered in very good condition. The mahogany boasting a well figured grain and rich patina with ebony stringing. The top extending by drop leafs with rounded corners. Fitted two frieze drawers with opposing dummy drawers with oak lined interiors. Raised on outswept reeded legs terminating in brass capped castors. Offered in good condition. Some light marks to top. Structurally sound with firm joints and extending mechanism smooth and sturdy. Delivered by a two man team. England, circa 1860 Height: 73.8 cm Length (extended): 152.4 cm Length (unextended): 100.9 cm Depth: 48.6 cm
