Coronavirus: Due to the current Coronavirus / COVID19 situation this auction will be TIMED ONLINE ONLY. There will be no in-person bidding allowed. We are offering online bidding via our website (www.eastbristol.co.uk) for 3%(+VAT) or bidding through the-saleroom.com for 4.95%(+VAT), as usual. We can also accept bids via email, telephone or post at no additional cost. Our staff are on hand to answer condition reports by email or telephone, and extra pictures are available by request. 

Our saleroom is closed to in-person bidders and members of the public can not be admitted. We are using a 'click and collect' system in our car park, and collections can be arranged strictly by appointment or courier only, after payment has been received. In all respects we urge people to use our postage & packing service (fully operational), or our furniture courier service (fully operational). 

Viewing; From 2nd December 2020 we are able to offer in-person viewing slots for specific lots and certain sales. This must be booked in advance, and we require a list of the items you wish to view beforehand - these will then be brought outside to our Safe Viewing Area ready for your visit. Our saleroom is closed and you will not be able to simply 'browse'. Slots are limited, and not all items are available for viewing in all sales.  Items can also be viewed via live video call with one of our experts. In all instances please contact us to arrange. 

By signing up to bid - you are agreeing to the standard terms of sale as outlined, and are politely reminded that no guarantees of condition are given and all items remain sold 'as is' irrespective of any description, and no warranties or guarantees are offered on any item, in any sale. Ample opportunity to obtain condition reports, and to view items (both in-person and virtually), has been given. 

Buyers Premium 18.5% (+VAT)

Lots purchased online with the-saleroom.com will attract an additional charge for this service in the sum of 4.95% of the hammer price plus VAT at the rate imposed.

We accept all major debit and credit cards (£200 limit if paying by Credit Card), cash or bank transfer. Unless paying in person, we request that all transactions over £500 are paid via bank transfer only. Online bidders, whether live or by automated online commission, must have a registered card on The-Saleroom.com payment portal. If no contact has been made within 7 days, payment AND postage will be automatically taken from the registered card. 

ITEMS MUST BE COLLECTED / POSTAGE ARRANGED WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS OF THE SALE OR STORAGE FEES WILL BE CHARGED AT THE RATE OF £5 (SMALL ITEM) OR £10 (FURNITURE) PER LOT, PER DAY. 

Ample opportunity is given for inspection. Each purchaser, by making a bid for a lot, is deemed to have knowledge of all the Conditions of Sale and to have satisfied themselves as to the physical condition and accuracy of the description of the lot, including, but not restricted to, whether the lot is damaged or has been repaired.
