Third Reich RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) 2nd Model Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Ernst Witte, fine example with ebony grip having enamel starburst insignia to the centre. Plated top pommel and crossguard in the form of the short winged eagle. Housed in the original scabbard with triangular ring mount which has the correct short pattern leather hanging strap attached. Double edged plain blade with very feint makers mark for Ernst Witte, which is common for this manufacture. Blade measures 8 ½ inches, overall 14 ¼ inches. Some small chips to the lower section of the grip.
