The so-called Vincentian ordinations were ordered by King D. João V and directed by the lawyer Jerónimo da Silva. First book (with engraved allegorical title) presents an ownership from the 19th century on the title: He do Medico Bernardo Pinto de Carvalho, da Reganhuça, Con.lho de Felgueiras (which is repeated in the second volume of the Repertory and in the Appendix). The six volumes are very clean (only the first volume of the Repertory has slight stains at the beginning) and with large margins, several notes from the time (marginalia). Solid recent bindings, fully red sheepskin, with ornamental borders on the covers, panels closed in gold on the spines and the coat of arms of Portugal engraved in gold in the centre of all covers; carminate edges.
