Footnotes: Provenance With Anthony d'Offay, London, 10 October 1974, where acquired by Mr & Mrs J. S. W. Moore Sale; Bonhams, Knightsbridge, 14 July 2009, lot 122 With Louise Kosman, East Lothian, where acquired by the present owner Private Collection, U.K. Exhibited London, Wildenstein & Co Ltd, Duncan Grant and his World, November 1964, cat.no.74, pl.15 (ill.b&w) The present work was painted on a painting trip made by Grant and Bell to Perugia in Spring of 1952.
