It’s that time of year again! On Friday 16th September, Bargain Hunt will be filming at a very special auction for BBC Children in Need. In a children’s television-themed episode, Pudsey Bear will join presenter Christina Trevanion and some well-known faces from kids’ TV past and present.
On the red team will be entertainers and presenters Dick and Dom. Their opponents in blue will be former Blue Peter presenter Mark Curry, and CBBC Newsround presenter De-Graft Mensah. And on hand to help the teams find their three antiques will be Bargain Hunt experts Roo Irvine and Philip Serrell.
Dick and Dom, Pudsey, Christina Trevanion, De-Graft Mensah, Mark Curry
Items bought by the celebrity teams at Southwell Racecourse in Nottinghamshire will be sold by auctioneer Charles Hanson at Bishton Hall in Staffordshire, to raise money for children’s projects across the UK.
And YOU can join in the fun! You can register and bid online for the teams’ items, as well as dozens of exciting extra charity lots, including goodies and exclusive experiences donated by TV celebrities, presenters and experts. It’s a rare opportunity to bid for lots that money normally can’t buy.
Lots are now live. Winning bidders will be notified after the sale ends, with all proceeds going to BBC Children in Need.
Take a look at this year’s charity lots below. If you would like to take part, sign up now!
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend you register to participate in this auction no later than 4pm on Thursday 15th September 2022.
