Awarded to `11272 Sepoy Mohd Din 2-14 Punjab R`. Comprising: India General Service Medal, clasp `North West Frontier 1936-37`, `Sepoy 2-14 Punjab R`, 1939/45 Star, Pacific Star, Defence Medal, War Medal. GC Official correction to Regiment on the IGS

Sepoy Muhammad Din was a pre war regular soldier of the 2nd Battalion 14th Punjab Regiment, He was killed on 18 December 1941, whilst four Battalions the Regiment were engaged in a desperate defence of Hong Kong. The Garrison fell to the Japanese on Christmas Day 1941. His name is commemorated on the Sai Wan Memorial, Hong Kong, and he was the son of Mubarak Jan of Khanpur, Hazara, Pakistan,
