A COLLECTION OF OTTOMAN SILVER VESSELS TURKEY, 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Comprising two shallow dishes, of circular form, one machined with undulating concentric lines, each with assay, sah and tughra of possibly sultan ABDULHAMID II (r. 1876-1909), a plate with similar aznavour decoration, with assay, sah and tughra ; two coffee pots, the first on high conical foot, with drop-shaped body rising to a hinged bulbous lid and serpentine handle, applied with intricate scrolling filigree decoration, the second on plain base with bulbous body engraved with stylised palmettes; two small circular shallow repoussé bowls, each with raised central bosse and anthropomorphic decoration; a silver gilt cup and dish, each on four spherical feet, the cup with rounded flaring body, each engraved with dense floral sprays under lobed arches; three belt loops; a mirror back, the silver-repoussé decoration with a trophy above a cup; a gold-embroidered belt with silver openwork buckle with peacocks amidst scrolling cloud, fair condition overall
