BIRMINGHAM, half stocked with chequered fore-end and wrist, border and scroll engraved case colour hardened mounts, serial no. 767, border and scroll engraved case colour hardened patch box decorated with a stage, wooden ramrod, contained in its fitted pig skin lined brass bound oak case, complete with tompion, mould, flask, oil bottle, cap tin, combination nipple wrench, fore-sight and key. Works crisply on FC and HC with a clean bore.
Original vintage poster entitled The British Commonwealth in Arms presented by the Overseas Club in their publication Overseas featuring extracts on the various contributions made towards the war effort by the Commonwealth countries of Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Newfoundland and South Africa with the stylised title lettering on banners next to images of the military uniform worn by soldiers during World War One of each Commonwealth nation and the coats of arms in the centre. The Overseas magazine was founded by Evelyn Wrench in 1915 and is still published today as the Quarterly Journal of the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL; founded 1910). Artwork by the British illustrator and landscape painter H.M. Brock (1875-1960). A copy of this poster is held at the Canadian War Museum in Ontario. Forward spring lock with flat plate signed 'BRISTLEN A MORGES' within an ellipse. Wooden full stock with knurled handle (crack on the right side). Iron and silver mounts, silver counterplate engraved with floral motifs, the end with shield featuring the owner's monogram. The left side with patchbox, shell-shaped cover. Anatomical trigger guard and iron butt plate. Set trigger. Wooden pommel. Wooden ramrod. Together with its bayonet (length: 59.5 cm), the base marked 'AS' and a nipple wrench. length 132.5 cm.

This rare jukebox has a pink 1957 Ford Thunderbird style fiberglass body with a white top that fits flush against a wall. It currently has 6 of the 80 Slots for 45 rpm vinyl records full and the same number of the label Slots on either side of the mechanism and thus offers up to 160 selections. It uses a German mechanism, Model ES-2 NSM to select the records. There are lights behind the chrome trimmed tail lights and a standard size license plate holder. A sealed manila envelope attached to the inside has the tubular wrench the factory supplied. Two keys are in their factory location, screwed to the rail on the back of the unit. When this particular Songbird Jukebox was manufactured in December 1988, by Carson City Parlour of Shakopee, Minnesota, it was made without a coin mechanism, displayed in a retail store, not being used, for 10 years and then kept in a climate controlled storage for the last 20 years! These are becoming more and more scarce as international collectors have become attracted and you simply will not find another unused example. Serial No. 2031. The bike runs however the handle bars and stem section require tightening, tires require air before riding and Would always recommend a service when it comes to bikes and trikes at auction.
Cased Samuel Nock percussion Tranter double trigger revolver Cased Samuel Nock 80 bore percussion Tranter double trigger revolver, 4inch octagonal barrel with engraved scroll borders, the tope engraved 'Sam.l nock 116 Jermyn St. London' the frame with traces of original blue, numbered 4463T, and fitted with 'W.Tranter's Patent' removable rammer, five shot cylinder, the double trigger also stamped 'W.Tranter's Patent', chequered grips fitted with oval boss. The mahogany case with green lining and Samuel Nock trade plate, the accessories include a twin cavity bullet mould serial numbered to the gun, C&J.W. Hawksley powder flask, nipple wrench, cleaning rod with worm, James Dixon and Sons Sheffield oil bottle, W&C Eley cap tin, grease tin, and a Samuel Nock & Co. labelled tin of bullets.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out. The box measures 33cm x 19cm. The revolver is in good above-average general condition. The blued finish, whilst being present in alot of places has worn away from the cylinder and alot of the frame. There is some light brown speckling seen in the patches which lack bluing. The bore has some light pitting spots but a strong rifling pattern. The action works well with strong springs and good timing. The chequered grip has some light dents but nothing deep and is free from splits or repairs. The case is structurally sound, one corner has a gap at the joint. there are some chips to the lining of the lid and the lock is missing and a very slight warp, typically seen in old cases, to the lid around the lock area. The green fabric lining has some moth damage as does the label. There is a small glue repair to one corner of a partition. The exterior of the cases have dents scratches and marks. The baseboard has a split at one corner. There are stains wear and losses to the labels and finish of the tins inside the case. The bullet mould and nipple key are lightly pitted on the steel parts.
James McCririck percussion .451 target rifle, 35inch browned barrel with scroll engraved false breech with platinum plug, engraved 'James McCririck Ayr' stamped with Birmingham proof marks, and fitted with windage adjustable front sight, the underside of the muzzle fitted with a tiny plug to align the muzzle guard found in the case. The lock fitted with sliding safety, engraved with maker name and scrolling, the half length stock with tang mounted sights, with horn capped forend, figured chequered stock and steel butt plate, the pistol grip capped in horn with vacant silver escutcheon. The oak case being a well made artificially aged modern reproduction, with brass corners and central escutcheon engraved 'C.M'. Fitted out with muzzle guard, oil bottle, leather barrel sling mount, G& J.W. Hawksley powder flask, percussion cap tin, bullet box, and sliding drawer fitted out with nipple wrench, mini screw driver, front sight with two elements, rear peep sight. Section 58(2) antique/ obsolete calibre no licence required to buy this lot, purchaser must be over the age of 18.The case measures 97cm x 22cm. The rifle is in excellent general condition. The bore is bright and shiny with a crisp rifling pattern and no signs of pitting or damage. The browning to the barrel is worn in places especially around the muzzle where a protector has been slid into place for cleaning. There is an odd scratch to the finish. The action works correctly with a strong spring. There is slight wear to the blued metal parts. The stock has one very small crack which is illustrated in images 37 - 39 online. Outside of this it only has some light dents, scratches and signs of use.The case is a well made modern replacement, it is structurally sound with no signs of damage.

A scarce, original UK mono pressing of 'Igginbottom's Wrench by short-lived and highly influential British prog-group 'Igginbottom (DML 1051, 1969 UK mono pressing on Deram. Labels are bright and legible, BBC Library stamp on both sides. The record is in sharp Ex condition, each side displays a couple of wispy/ hairline paper marks. The front laminated sleeve has bright covers, a light crease to the top left corner of the cover and numerous BBC library stickers to both covers, VG condition).
Original vintage diploma issued by the Over-Seas League to the Convent of the Ladies of Mary Croydon of the Empire Day in 1942. The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a not-for-profit members’ organisation with international headquarters in its clubhouse in central London, England. It is also a major supporter of the arts, most notably with its prestigious annual music competition. Founded by Sir Evelyn Wrench in 1910 as the Over-Seas Club, it was given a Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1922 and Queen Elizabeth II granted the title "Royal" to mark its golden jubilee in 1960. Wrench saw the British Empire of the time as not merely a political and economic structure, but also "a far-flung brotherhood of individual men and women of diverse creeds and races living widely apart under differing conditions in different latitude". The league today is both an association of individual members and a supporter of Commonwealth art, music and welfare projects. Convent of the Ladies of Mary was a Secondary School in Croydon, London. Good condition, pinholes at corners, small tear at the left edge, minor foxing at the top, backed on brown paper. Country of issue: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 28x43, year of printing: 1942.
