An 18th Century Whieldon type tortoiseshell plate circa 1765, the fluted rope edge plate in Creamware with stippled brown, green and yellow sponged glaze effect, unmarked, width 22cm, together with a similar period Creamware plate with hand enamelled decoration, and a large relief moulded Caneware plate, damages. A small Staffordshire 'Whieldon' creamware teapot and cover circa 1750the globular body applied with sprigs of fruiting grapevine issuing from the crab stock handle, the glaze with splashes of blue, green and manganese, 8cm high and approximately 14cm across.Condition:Crazing to the glaze throughout. X shaped hairline visible to the interior of the teapot. Restoration to the very tip of the spout and two restored chips to the cover. Restored break near the rim of the teapot, approximately 2cm wide x 2cm deep.
