LONDON CHALLENGE CUP MEDAL 1923 Hallmarked silver medal in box issued in 1923 by Vaughtons Limited of Birmingham for the Mid-Week Shield Competition. The box is slightly worn and has London Football Association and a football in gold lettering on the top of the lid and the makers name inside the lid. There is very little information available on the London Professional Midweek League but in the late 1920's Arsenal, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, QPR and West Ham United appeared. Good
