MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MOVIE (1996) - Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy) Puppet - A Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy) puppet from Jim Mallon's Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. The robots Crow T. Robot (Trace Beaulieu) and Tom Servo kept Mike Nelson (Michael J. Nelson) company while he was trapped aboard the Satellite of Love and forced to watch the film This Island Earth.Created by Joel Hodgson from assorted materials, and most recognized for his carousel snack dispenser head, this Tom Servo puppet is comprised primarily of plastic with white plastic shoulders, a barrel body with a toy car engine affixed to the front, and a large white plastic bowl for a hover skirt with black vacuum-formed plastic accents and gray foam lining at the bottom. The arms are molded metal and have coiled springs which allow them movement. This puppet was painted predominately in red, with silver-color accents and white arms. Beneath the skirt is a PVC control rod that moves the head from side to side. The interior features a handwritten "4" in graphite This lot exhibits some discoloration, scuffing, notable adhesive, and loose components.
