A Japanese Naginata, Sengoku/Edo Period.With curved blade formed with two red lacquer filled fullers on each face, the tang signed Bushu Shimonara ju Hironobu (active in Sengoku to Edo era), and pierced with a single hole, on its partially lacquered haft with weighted shoe, complete with its black lacquered scabbard painted with a red flowerhead clan mon.
