An early cinema associated fine antique English silver mounted whippet or greyhound head walking cane, the silver mount engraved "Arthur Rooke with Sincere Regards From Austin Melford". Arthur Rooke (1878-1947) was a film actor and successful director of the early silent era. Austin Melford (1884-1971) was a screenwriter and director. The younger Melford seems to have been an admirer of Rooke. The dog head handle by Jonathan Howell of Birmingham mounted with naturalistic glass eyes. 88 cm long.

McDonald, to Littleton Augustus Whitten (1802-1862), militia and Civil War soldier killed in battle. The second is an 1852 land grand document signed by Governor Howell Cobb, a founder of the Confederacy. Heavy paper with seals attached.
