Edward Radford (English, 1831-1920) 'Fortunes'oil on canvassigned29 x 34cm***CONDITION REPORT***Oil on canvas relined many years ago, paint remains clean, a little fine craquelure showing particularly in the blues of her dress, signed lower left, housed in the original ornate gilt frame which has a few dents and losses, remnant of Christie's stencil mark verso.The canvas does fit the frame but has slipped slightly in the photograph and with manual adjustment does that correctly.Any red lines are just reflections in the glass, there is a small skin blemish to the oil on her right arm and just below the elbowPLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. Overall in relatively stable condition and slight cosmetic and structural issues do not affect its ability to be hung. Please see photos.
