The contents of Bridlington Station’s ‘buffet and refreshment room’ will be sold by Spicers in Driffield on February 14.

The Grade II listed waiting room opened in 1922 and is largely unchanged since then, retaining separate first and second class rooms connected by a servery.

However, local owner John Sadler, 70, has given up the tenancy after 17 years, and the ‘time-capsule’ of railwayana and advertising memorabilia will be sold.
