The outbreak of coronavirus has forced the art and antiques industry to take measures including the postponement of many fairs and auctions around the world. Image via Wikimedia Commons.

Please note, due to the national shutdown in the UK announced March 23, all auction houses are now closed to the public for at least three weeks. Online-only auctions and timed auctions will go ahead in some cases.

See the latest sales taking place in the current auctions section.

Sales held by auction houses in other countries are also being affected.

NOTE: Live online-only

Where an auction is listed as ‘live online-only’ ('online-only' for short), no bidding in person is available. Bids can be placed online, and usually on commission and on the phone as well. Check with the auction house directly for further details.
