A major theme of this season is the relationship between the Prince of Wales and Princess Diana, which remains a source of endless fascination for many, and has a thriving collectors’ market all of its own. Return to the not-so-much-simpler days of season one with this limited edition loving cup c.1953 made by Cecil J Noke and Harry Fenton for Royal Doulton to celebrate the coronation. Numbered 420/1000 the cup has an estimate of £150-200 at Kingham & Orme’s sale of December 3-5.

Princess Diana presentation box
HotLotz in Singapore offers this rare royal presentation Halcyon Days box. The cover has a D cypher for Diana with a floral surround and the sides decorated with a floral surround. The interior of the cover is inscribed Presented by The Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales and it is marked Number 4 to the base. It is offered at the Home & Décor sale of December 6 with an estimate of 600-800 SGD.
