"I hereby offer a Reward of TEN POUNDS To any Person who shall, within Six Months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the discovery and prosecution to conviction of the Person or Persons etc". The Rockites were a group of working class revolutionaries active mainly active in the 1820s, but still around in the 1840s. The pseudonym "Captain Rock" was used on threatening letters sent mainly to landlords who evicted tenants or various officers of the State. Letterpress.
