A good silver hilted hunting sword or hanger, c 1760, the 17th century DE blade 27½”, with 2 fullers each stamped “Sahagum” and with running wolf mark, the unmarked silver mounted hilt with lion’s head pommel, crosspiece with stylised trophies and recurved quillons, and steel chain guard, the green stained ivory grip carved with hexagonal and triangular patterns with engraved silver flower headsd at the intersections.
