TITANIC BLUEPRINT DRAWING - Marconi Radio Blue Print for "The White Star Triple-Screw Steamers `Olympic` and `Titanic`", marked "Marconi" lower right and stamped "Marconi Telegraph Company, Marine Division, Belfast" lower left. In gold frame, matted and glazed, OS: 28 1/2" x 37 1/2", SS: 19 1/4" x 28 1/4". Good condition. From "The Electrician" magazine of the period: "The wireless telegraphy installation consists of a Marconi 1-1/2 kilowatt standard ship`s set. The house for the Marconi instruments is situated on the boat deck adjoining the officers` cabins. The two parallel aerial wires required for the system extend between the masts. They are kept as high as possible and are fastened to light booms, the latter being at attached to the masts From the aerial wires, connecting wires are led to the instruments in the house."
