OVER-AND-UNDER PERCUSSION PISTOL BY SAMUEL NOCK, LONDON, NO. 7518, CIRCA 1835 with sighted barrels, the upper inscribed 'London' and the lower carrying a swivel ramrod beneath, signed scroll-engraved breech tang fitted with standing back-sight, scroll-engraved box-lock action fitted with bolt safety-catches on each side, scroll-engraved hammers, finely chequered figured walnut butt fitted with scroll-engraved steel butt-cap with trap, vacant silver escutcheon, and scroll-engraved trigger-guard 21.5cm; 8Iin Samuel Nock was Gunmaker-in-Ordinary to George III, George IV, William IV and Queen Victoria.
