An Early 19th Century Brass Shoulder Belt Plate, of rectangular form with granulated surface, applied with a silver heraldic crowned oval shield centred by three fleur de lys, the quartered field with diagonally opposing castles and crowned rampant lions over a rose, all within a palm wreath, a thistle below, with original leather backing, possibly French, 9.7cm by 7.6cm
