A late 18th century silver mounted cowrie shell snuff box, unmarked, the hinged cover inscribed ‘Tobacco good within I have, But tis not free for evry knave, A little ? friend to try, Let? begging following and buy’, monogrammed, 7.25cm long, a George III silver toothpick box, by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1785, of rectangular form with canted corners, 7.5cm long, velvet lined, a pair of continental silver cloak studs, modelled in high relief with a huntsman courting a country girl, 2.75cm diameter, a continental silver seal, the baluster handle cast and pierced with foliage, monogrammed, 6.5cm long, and a silver plated wine label pierced ‘Madeira’, 7cm long, lacking chain (8)
