Three Framed Plates from Description de l'Égypte, ou Recueil des observations et des recherches qui ont été faites en Égypte pendant l'expédition de l'armée française, publié par les ordres de sa majesté l'empereur Napoléon le grand: Two with Multiple Views of Basse Égypte (Plates 77 and 78, Vol. I) and One View of Alexandrie (Plate 86, Vol. II)
Identified in the plates.
Engravings on paper, sight sizes to 23 3/8 x 17 in. (56.0 x 43.0 cm).
Condition: Minor rippling, scattered fox marks and pale staining, Alexandrie with toning, not examined out of frames.

Provenance: Charles Spada Collection.

N.B. The works document locations from Napoleon's campaign in Egypt (1798-1799).
