A silver Monteith, the bowl by Sam Wastell 1712, the detachable rim, Edward Farrell 1824, applied with lion ring mask handles (lacking one handle), joined by a gadrooned band with scallop cartouches above a shell and scroll band and embossed cartouche with Cassillis arms `Avise La Fin`, later base cast and pierced with shells, animal masks and foliage, 41cm diameter x 33cm high
