Since the beginning of the 1990s, Peter Wüthrich's work has focused on the object "book", which he takes as the theme and constituent unit of all his creations. For the artist, the book has a threefold value: on the one hand, abstract aesthetic (because of its colour and monochromatic surface); on the other hand, sculptural (because of its physical presence, sometimes ephemeral) and, finally, Pop (as a consumer object).
