Paul Beighton Auctioneers operate an in house post and packaging service to clients in the UK as well as across the globe.
Your purchased items will be professionally packed by our experienced team and can be sent to you via Royal Mail or Parcel Force, goods are not insured against damage or loss.
We do not post framed pictures / mirrors, very large items or liquids in glass bottles. There are a number of item categories that we cannot post internationally.
We charge a nominal fee for packing your items plus the cost of the postal service.
We will continue working by appointment only for viewing, consignments, collections and valuations.
Goods not paid for and collected / shipping arranged by Friday of sale week will be subject to £5 storage fee per lot per week.
Commission bids to be supplied via email and phone bids should be booked in advance.
Please also note:
- No collection saleday.
- Collection Tuesday to Friday by appointment.
- Payment by Bacs or telephone card payment.
Lots purchased must be cleared from the saleroom within three working days.
Buyers Premium: 17.5% + saleroom.com surcharge fee (when bidding online) + VAT.
The saleroom.com is an intermediary bidding service and is not an infallible system. Any autobids matching the auctioneers commission bid / room bid will be decided in favour of the commission bid / room bid. Bids after the gavel will not be accepted. The auctioneers decision is final.

Although you have registered your card details with the-saleroom.com we do not have access to your payment details and you will need to contact us to arrange payment.
There is a spend limit of £200 for credit cards. Invoices over £1,000 must be paid by bank transfer.

Our catalogue descriptions DO NOT include condition reports. Electrical goods sold have not been pat tested and must be inspected by a professional before being used as they may not comply with current standards.
When buying second-hand goods in auction the sale of goods act 1979 does not apply. If however a lot has been catalogued incorrectly your rights remain.
A buyers premium of 17.5% is payable on the hammer price of each lot purchased.
VAT is charged on the premium only. Lots purchased live online through the-saleroom.com will be subject to a further 4.95% surcharge upon the hammer price. All charges are subject to VAT.
