of Armada pattern, the ewer chased in high relief and applied with demi figures and animals, the tapered neck embossed with husks and leaves, having domed lid with lever action and on moulded foot, 20cm h, by Nathan & Hayes, Chester 1903, 55ozs
The engraved inscriptions read: T S H POINT TO POINT RACES LADIES PLATE 23RD MARCH 1904. WON BY T E LEWIS-BOWEN`S "HARLEQUIN" RIDDEN BY E H VAUGHAN LLANGOEDMOR.
