An 18th century Channel Islands silver christening cup makers mark GS (unknown Jersey circa 1690-1722) of typical Jersey form with twin pierced scroll handles makers mark struck once and engraved with initials J.L.M. 18cm wide 1.5cm high approx. weight 2oz. * The inscription translates as possibly Jean Le Masurier. The Jersey spelling of the surname differs to the corresponding Guernsey spelling.
