A scarce set of George III knives by Patrick Robertson, Edinburgh circa 1785, the stylised rococo scroll pistol grip handles with engraved crest and motto, the silver blades marked thistle, duty head, PR, with shaped top edge and rounded points (3) 21cm long Note: Silver Scottish knives are unusually scarce, particularly with silver blades. They are more commonly found with steel blades which can quickly deteriorate and this may explain the reason for the small survival rate.
