Description
Raffinato orologio da appoggio Carlo X, con cassa in bronzo in patina scura e dorata al mercurio; la parte superiore in bassorilievo con raffinata decorazione a foglie di acanto. La parte frontale con bassorilievo dall’antico, dorato. Quadrante argentato, guilloché, con ore in dodici, in numeri romani, sfere Breguet e due fori di carica. Base finemente cesellata. Movimento con suoneria delle ore e delle mezze. Francia, 1824-1830. A fine Charles X French clock, with ormolu and dark patina bronze case. The upper part of the case in bas-relief with a refined decoration of acanthus leaves. The front of the case has an ormolu bas-relief from a classical scene. Silvered machine-turned dial, hours with Roman numerals, Breguet-style hands. The pedestal is finely decorated and chiseled. The clock strikes hours and half hours. France, 1824-1830. H 41 cm
