Haut. 10,6 cm Long.21 cm Bibliographie: "BARYE Catalogue raisonné des sculptures" par Michel Poletti et Alain Richarme, Editions Gallimard, modèle A87 illustré p 225 et 226, fig198 et 199. D'après Poletti et Richarme, ce groupe en bronze de Barye, l'un des derniers avant sa mort serait un pendant du modèle A86 "panthère surprenant un zibeth". D'un grand romantisme formel, ce modèle est rare en fonte ancienne.
