All items will be shipped by a Tracking Method.

TERMS OF BUSINESS

HUNTLY AUCTIONS NOTES.

IMPORTANT INITIAL NOTE:

With the-saleroom now charging 5.94% on top of the Auctioneers Fees we do expect to be asked for more Telephone Line Bids and bidders wanting to leave Commission Bids.

These are the type of bids that create us the most problems in that there is a much higher percentage of non-paying bidders.

This is no reflection on the majority of bidders, but merely that non-payers do create a headache for us.

If you are unknown to us then we may ask you for a deposit or proof of identity for a Telephone Line Bid or leaving a Commission Bid.

1. We try to make sure that the items in our Sales are genuine and to make sure that you cannot be decieved in any way and if we are in doubt of an item we will mention this (reproduction, copy etc)

2. We try and supply as much images as possible so that you can make a more informed judgement of the item.

3. We have a shipper who can package and ship most items for a very reasonable cost. If you recieve a quote for shipping immediately after the auction then please note that this is not us but rather Mail Boxes in conjunction with ATG. It may well be that Mail Boxes is a better shipping option for expensive items as they can provide insurance.

4. If you purchase and item online then please note that we do not have an over the phone payment system. The forms of payment that we accept are a Bank Transfer, UK cheque, or Cash sent by Special Delivery. Please note that if you are an Overaseas Bidder that payment must be in the form of a Bank Transfer and that a £10 fee is added for the Banking Transaction Fees.

5. We have had quite a few problems with non-paying Telephone Bidders so please do not be offended you may well be asked for a deposit to acquire a Telephone Line.

6. Please read the Terms and Conditions below and one of the main points should note is that if you ask for a condition report then that report is our honest opinion of the item.
