(École allemande) - KOCH, Joseph (1768-1839).- Vues de Rome : 20 planches. [c. 1810]. Eaux-fortes, cuv. 16,7 x 22 cm + très grandes marges, papier vélin, signées et légendées en italien sous le T.C (non rognées, faibles rouss. dans les marges). Avec la série "Römische Ansichten", le peintre, dessinateur et graveur Koch livre un témoignage important du paysage urbain contemporain. Vers 1810, dans la cité romaine, il est en contact avec un nouveau groupe de jeunes artistes allemands, les Nazaréens, qui le prenne comme mentor.
