DESSIN ORIGINAL, plume, pinceau et lavis à l'encre bistre avec qqs traits à la mine de plomb, 26 x 36,5 cm, papier chiffon, collé en plein sur carton de support, attribution à Rubens sur le carton de support (f. affadi, pli vertical central, mouill. au coin inf. dr. et 2 pet. mouill. au coin sup. g., 2 pet. lacunes sur le bord inf., faibles rouss. passim, 1 toute pet. déchirure en haut à 15 cm du bord g., carton de support détérioré). Sujet repris par différents maîtres de l'école anversoise du 17e siècle, tels que Wollffaerts, Seghers ou Van Lint, et dont il existe en peinture plusieurs variantes conservées notamment au Kunsthistorisches Museum de Vienne, à Brunswick et au Metropolitan Museum de New York.
