ELLIS", Sheffield 1896, Makers mark: JVC, 6¼" long; another example, the handle engraved with fruiting vine, inlaid with a navette shape silver plaque, Birmingham 1851, Makers mark: G U in a shield, 6" long; a George IV white metal small sauce ladle, partial Edinburgh hallmark.
