Early 20th century silver sauce boat, with gadrooning to rim, acanthus scroll handle and standing on three hoof feet. Hallmarked S.Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Chester 1929. Height including handle 4 3/4 inches (12cm), weight 9.89 ozt (307.5 grams).

Condition: The sauce boat has general surface marks and scratches and wear in keeping with its age. There are some deeper, more noticeable scratches to the interior and some minor dinks and pin prick marks. There are also some more noticeable scratches to the underside. The underside also has scratch weights marked on it and also an impressed star mark. The main hallmarks are very clear. There is some tarnishing and some areas of collected polish.
