A 1920's nurses medal in the form of an enameled red cross with central armorial, the top brooch fitting in blue enamel and reads 'Miss Storers Nursing Association'. Height measures 2ins (5.5cm). Hallmarked J A Restall Birmingham 1928. The medal is in generally good condition. The enamel is all intact and unchipped, although it is scuffed and scratched in places. The silver is tarnished and dirty looking. The cross medal is slightly loose on the brooch fitting, and the brooch itself does not work because the clasp is bent. The hallmark on the back of the cross is clear, and the sponsor's mark is badly rubbed but still legible. The hallmark on the back of the brooch is badly rubbed.
