A Victorian knife and fork carving set, the silver blades with foliate engraving and filled silver handles decorated with intertwining leaf and berry detail, dated Birmingham 1872. The knife and fork are in good condition. They have some surface scratches and slight tarnish, but no serious damage. The decoration is all clear and unrubbed. The fork has pulled away from its handle slightly, but it is not loose. The hallmarks are easily legible. The box is in reasonable condition, although the fastening is loose. There are some scrapes to the exterior, and fading and marks to the interior.
