A Chinese aventurine glass and silver coloured gilt mounted snuff bottle, late 19th/early 20th century, the stopper bearing hallmarks, cabachon green hardstone stopper, 6.7cm high. Provenance: acquired by the current vendor’s grandfather who became a teaching missionary in Amoy, China in 1906. This lot was brought back to Britain in 1941 when his widow was repatriated
