General delivery information available from the auctioneer

The Purchaser is solely responsible for and must arrange, the shipping of any items purchased. With regard to smaller items ( provided we regard it suitable ), the Auctioneers can arrange Postage and Packing, the charge for which will be added to the Invoice Total.

POSTAGE: For a further charge, we are happy to pack and post single items that will fit within a 30cmx30cmx20cm box and send by Royal Mail special delivery. We will not pack collections of fragile items or pictures/paintings. For items that do not meet this criteria, we recommend using Auction To Door Shipping,  who can be contacted on atdshipping@gmail.com or +44 1903 742233 or +44 7483 353934

DELIVERY For local delivery of furniture we recommend Libbys Transport 01306 886755 or mobile 07831 799319

UK Shipping

For small items we would recommend using the special delivery service provided by Royal Mail.

If you choose to use Royal Mail, we will securely package your items and arrange their collection and delivery for you. However due to the closure of the local Post Office, we will only undertake postage of small, single item lots which will be posted by Special Delivery at our convenience. We will package items as safely and securely as possible but will hold no responsibility for damage received during transit.

For Medium sized items: If you use Auction to Door, they will collect and package your items themselves.

Please Note/ we DO NOT package dinner services or pictures at all, if you purchase these items then you must use a firm to collect and package them.

For large items ( tables, bureaus )
We would advise using a firm of carriers. We personally recommend a local firm 'Libbys Transport' ( tel 01306 886 755 / 07831 799 319 ) who will deliver to a radius of about 50 miles from the auction premises. If you live further than 50 miles from the auction rooms it would be better to arrange delivery yourself in order to get the best quoted price.

Please check current shipping rates before placing any bids.

International Shipping

We will accept bids from international buyers who cannot attend our sales provided they have met our security criteria. If you wish to place bids please read our Terms and Conditions and then contact us by phone.

If you are an international buyer and require Antiques/Collectables sent to you we would advise the following :-

For small or individual items
We would recommend using the International Tracked & Signed service provided by Royal Mail. We will securely package your items and arrange their collection and delivery for you. We will package items as safely and securely as possible but will hold no responsibility for damage received during transit. This method can only be insured up to £250

For medium size items ( vases, clocks )
We recommend Auction To Door Shipping. They will collect and package the items themselves and bill you directly.

For large items ( tables, bureaus )
Auction House Shipping who specialise in shipping antiques. Please contact them directly to discuss rates and delivery address.

Please check current shipping rates before placing any bids. If you are unsure of which service to use, please do not hesitate to contact us.
