the silver London 1900 and later, maker William Comyns, comprising teapot with hinged and domed solid silver cover surmounted with an English rose finial, the yellow ground egg shell porcelain base with gilt painted foliate decoration, the side with woven wicker scroll handle, the teapot enclosed with pierced foliate scrollwork and trellis panels, two sugar basins, cream jug and six tea cups, all with conforming silver mounts, together with six matching silver coffee spoons, a pair of William Comyns silver sugar tongs, and six saucers, one saucer with hairline crack, otherwise the whole set in remarkable condition.
