Description
A late 19th century German mahogany table clock Movement signed Lenzkirch The bell-top case surmounted by a brass carrying handle and surrounded by four turned finials, with pierced wooden sound frets to the sides and brass sound fret above the front door. The column-shaped sides inlaid with brass, terminating in a moulded base and resting on brass ogee feet. The brass dial with cast spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre, and blued steel hands. The movement with square plates, striking the quarters on a pair of blued steel gongs separately mounted to the case, with a deadbeat escapement and going barrel movement. 28.5cm (11in) high. Buyers' Premium and Charges

28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
