A COLLECTION OF CHINESE, JAPANESE AND DUTCH DECORATED PORCLAIN 17th-19th century Comprising: a pair of circular dishes, each painted with a bird perched on a leafy, blossoming peony branch; a tureen stand adorned to the centre with a landscape featuring a tiered pagoda, a pavilion, trees and flowers, the exterior with four peony branches, with a metal mounting; a jag and cover painted in the Imari manner with leafy, blossoming, and fruity pomegranate sprays; a famille verte jug and a cover, painted on one side with a panel of floral sprays issuing from rockworks, the panel on the other side depicting a lotus pond scene, flanked by a handled and spout; a Imari bowl decorated at the centre with a medallion enclosing a floral spray, the exterior adorned with sprays of leafy flowers beneath a band of floral-heads; a vase covered with a crackled green glaze; a Japanese dish of octagonal shape, to the centre with two quails surrounded by floral sprays; a Japanese dish of lobed body with a brown glazed rim, painted with two birds perched on a leafy floral sprig while the third one flying toward them. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
