Dial: White, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, blued steel hands
Case: Polished inner, repousse outer depicting Venus disarming Mars,
Signed: Movement, case stamped IAG

The Cabriers were from a famous dynasty of Huguenot watch and clockmakers who settled in London after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes (1685). A relatively large number of their clocks and watches built over a period of half a century have survived.

Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
