Robert Andrew Parker Amazons to Zapata. [colophon: New York: Ink, Inc., February 2009]. Small quarto (9 ¾ x 7 1/8in;248 x 182mm). 26 hand-coloured plates by Parker, each signed in pencil by the artist, colophon leaf with hand-coloured vignette. Unbound as issued within original wrappers, with hand-coloured  title panel and artist’s signature on the upper cover, custom cloth box.


Provenance: personal collection of the artist, each leaf signed and extra-illustrated with two original watercolour drawings: the ‘artwork’ for ‘Amazons of the Air’, and ‘Zapata the Chihuahua’.


Limited edition of 26 copies signed by Parker, this copy number 3. The artist’s own copy, with two original watercolours.
