Black-printed pictorial blue-grey cloth-boards with gilt-embossed titling to the upper panel, plain endpapers, illustrated title-page, inserted collotype portrait of S J P Kruger as frontispiece, 323 pp of 2-column text, chronology and contents, all on coated paper, profusely illustrated with full-page and smaller half-tone photographs, + inserted 3-fold lithographed map at the back.


CONDITION. The lightly repaired boards remain near very good. The contents are complete, unmarked and undiscoloured and remain very good throughout.
