Contemporary light brown calf by Zaehnsdorf (for John Wanamaker), gilt tooling, three spine labels lettered or numbered in gilt, gilt turn-ins, top edge of book-block gilded.
Condition: small neat repairs to map, bound without the separate advertisement leaves; binding with joints and extremities very lightly rubbed [see images]
First Edition in a Zaehnsdorf binding, first issue with p.40. line 11, with ‘business’ rather than ‘pleasure’; p.104 with ‘nine o’clock’; p.101 with ‘Lone Islands’
