Original vintage motorsports poster celebrating Porsche’s performance at the 1973 Road Atlanda Can-Am, featuring a design by Atelier Strenger. A black and white photo shows the drivers racing towards the viewer, lead by George Follmer, the winner of the race, in a Porsche 917/10 Turbo marked number 16. The curving race track divides the image in two; on one side, the background is blue and on the other it is orange. The poster features the names of the top six drivers and their cars, which include the Porsche 917/10 Turbo, McLaren M20-Chevrolet and Lola T260-Chevrolet. Held on 8th July, 1973, the Carling Can-Am was the second round of the Canadian-American season. The Canadian-American Challenge Cup, or Can-Am, was an SCCA/CASC sports car racing series from 1966 to 1987. Very good condition, small tears on edges.
